**** from The Times

Richard Morrisson, The Times (19th November, 2024)

This week’s lunchtime broadcast on BBC Radio 3 from Wigmore Hall received some high praise in The Times. Reviewer Richard Morrison wrote described our programme as “an ingenious way of mixing sacred motets with secular madrigals dwelling dolefully on the insomnia of lovesick poets, and also of presenting very different styles of 16th-century music cheek by jowl”, and praised our performance as showing “warmth, emotion and a metrical flexibility all the more striking for being achieved without a conductor. The singers seem telepathically linked.”
