Stile Antico's new disc Media vita, on UK release next week, was today featured on BBC Radio 3's CD Review, which described it as "the finest of Stile Antico's recordings to date". Stile Antico has spent the last three days at All Hallows, Gospel Oak, recording its fifth project for Harmonia Mundi. The programme, a glorious selection of Tudor English music for Advent and Christmas, includes works by Tallis, Sheppard, Byrd, Taverner and White. The disc will be released in Autumn 2010.

The Boston Globe's critic has described Stile Antico's Song of Songs as "hands down, the best recording I heard all year', in his review of 2009 classical releases. Stile Antico's recording Song of Songs has been honoured at the 2009 Gramophone Awards, beating off stiff competition from The Cardinalls Musick and the Brabant Ensemble to win the Early Music category. The Gramophone Awards are the UK's premier industry awards, and rank amongst the most prestigious in the world.
