Parker's Psalter, was today chosen by Radio 3's CD Review as essential to any Tallis collection.
The disc was particularly praised for its programming, and for an approach that "revels in the rhythm and vibrancy of the words".

26.3.08 Stile Antico makes third recording
Following the successes of Heavenly Harmonies and Music for Compline, Stile Antico has begun
recording its third project for Harmonia Mundi. Moving into the Continental repertoire for the first time
on disc, the group is recording a sumptuous selection of Song of Songs settings by the greatest composers
of the Spanish and Flemish schools.

in its first week on US release. The disc is currently placed at #9. The group's first recording, Music for

26.1.08 Stile Antico performs at Harmonia Mundi celebration
Stile Antico was honoured to take part in Harmonia Mundi's 50th birthday celebrations in Arles last night.
The group performed selections from their recordings for an invited audience at the beautiful Chapelle du Méjan. Their
second CD for the label, Heavenly Harmonies, is released on 4th February.

23.12.07 York Festival concert broadcast on BBC Radio 3
Highlights from Stile Antico's concert with the Rose Consort of Viols at the York Festival last July were today featured on The Early Music Show on BBC Radio 3. The concert, focusing on Byrd's split loyalties to the Protestant Crown and Catholic Church, can be accessed via the BBC website until 29th December.

Stile Antico is honoured to have been awarded a prestigious Diapason d'or de l'année for 2007. Their debut recording, Music for Compline, was chosen to the receive the annual award in the early music category. The Diapason Palmarès are the most prestigious awarded by the French press, much like the UK Gramophone Awards.

Stile Antico's Music for Compline was today featured on US National Public Radio. Reviewer Tom Manoff described the group as "one of the finest choral ensembles of our day". Within hours of the broadcast, the disc had reached #1 in the Classical bestseller list at Amazon.com.

Following the success of Music for Compline, Stile Antico has begun recording its second CD for Harmonia Mundi. Contrasting the simplest of Tallis' English hymns with rich, impassioned Catholic motets by Byrd, The Desire of Heavenly Harmonies is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2008.
