Last chance to apply for Young Singer Bursaries

There are just four days left to apply for our 2017-18 Young Singer bursaries! We asked current bursary holder Sacha Fullerton to explain why young singers should be interested:

If you are considering a career in any kind of choral singing, this bursary scheme is the ideal way to learn about the various challenges of singing in a conductor-less ensemble, and also to make invaluable contacts in the early music world- it is a truly unique opportunity and not one to be missed!

The bursaries are made possible through the generosity of the Stile Antico Foundation, and offer awards of £500 to two promising young singers in the final stages of their training or at the outset of their professional careers. In addition to the bursary sum, which is intended to fund singing lessons and other a costs, the successful applicants will be invited to participate in rehearsals with Stile Antico, and will mentored by members of the ensemble. To apply, please send your CV (including the names of two referees), a recording of a solo song, and a letter outlining your reasons for applying and how you propose to spend the bursary sum to by midnight on Sunday 17th September. Audio recordings are preferred, but we will accept video submissions providing that the sound is of sufficient quality.
