Oxford scholar Robert Dow collected his favourite music in a set of handwritten partbooks in the 1580s. Today his collection is one of the most important sources for English Renaissance music. Artists-in residence-Stile Antico open the door to this time capsule of motets, anthems and madrigals. A rare glimpse into Tudor domestic music practice, with gems by Tallis, Byrd, White and other British masters.
