The fourth and final instalment of our US tour vlog, featuring music by Byrd, backstage shenanigans, and Eleanor explaining why singing with Stile is such a fulfilling experience!
In today’s video blog from our US tour, we address the important question of how to relax on days between concerts.
Today’s vlog instalment finds Will in an airport, and the group in Garden City, SoCal, at the iconic Crystal Cathedral.
We’re safely back from the US! In lieu of our usual travel blog, we’ve putted together a video blog of our travels! Here’s the first instalment from Birmingham, AL, featuring music by Clemens, Vivanco and Tomkins, a bleary-eyed Katie, and some outstanding cars, and Dr Frederick Teardo, Director of Music at the Cathedral of the Advent.
We’re packing our suitcases for a whistle-stop trip to the US – the second time this year that we have crossed the Atlantic. We’ll be giving just three performances this time around, but they are all in cities which we’ve never previously visited – Birmingham, AL, Garden Grove, CA, and Rochester, MN. It’s always exiting to expand our list of... continued
Here’s Andrew’s blog about the last few days of our tour.
“After four nights in Indianapolis it was rather a shock to get on the road again. Our itinerary for the final part of our tour was extremely busy: including our Indianapolis performance, four concerts in four days in three different time zones. Happily the first leg was easy – three hours... continued
Here’s Tom K’s blog on our stay in Indianapolis!
“After some back to back concerts in the Northeast corridor and Dallas, we were certainly looking forward to a change of pace. After de-planing in Dallas due to a faulty hydraulic pump on one of the wheels (scary!) and some minor grief with the car hire, we were on our way to a Holiday Inn ten miles or so... continued

As we head down the East Coast to NYC for this evening’s concert, here’s Becky’s blog on our time in Boston.
“Day one of the tour saw us in familiar territory: the Back Bay area of Boston, where we have stayed on many occasions. The first concert day of a North American tour is always the most challenging. You feel wide awake at 5am but soporific by... continued
We’re packing our bags once again ahead of tomorrow’s transatlantic flight, and can’t wait to spend the next ten days in the US and Canada. We begin our tour in Cambridge, MA, under the auspices of the Boston Early Music Festival – our earliest and most loyal supporters in the US – before heading onward to New York City, Dallas, Indianapolis,... continued
After a very brief visit home, twelve weary travellers yet again set off at the crack of dawn last Thursday. Our spirits were kept high, however, by the prospect of our upcoming performances: the celebrated Leipzig Gewandhaus followed by our Latvian debut! Luckily, neither of these was a disappointment. Like all Renaissance vocal... continued
