Stile Antico is delighted to announce its third Youth Consort course: a non-residential summer school for talented young singers, which will run from 29-31 August.

Over the course of three days, the singers will receive coaching from members of Stile Antico with the aim of developing their ensemble skills, musical interpretation, and knowledge of Renaissance repertoire. This year we will be focussing on music from the Italian Renaissance. As well as music by such well-known composers as Palestrina and Monteverdi, we will also look at works by lesser-known female composers from the time. From intimate madrigals to large-scale polychoral works, the course will explore some of the finest repertoire from the period.
